HOW TO SPEED UP IDM?

Method 1-Change the type of connection and make Internet Download Manager fast!

• Head up to your Internet Download Manager (IDM) software and then go to:
• Downloads > Options and then click on the connection tab.
• Snap the dropdown box named “Connection Type/Speed” choice and snap the dropdown rundown and afterward select the (High speed: Direct connection (Ethernet/Cable) / Wi-Fi / Mobile 4G / other).
• Then select the max connection numbers option and click on the dropdown list and select the 32 option. It will connect the download to 32 different serving points of the server for better or best speed possible. A graphical example is shown below:

Method 2- Increase downloading speed by disabling speed limiter!

Internet download manager (IDM) providers its clients/users with the ability of speed and time management in the speed limiter option. This option limits the downloading speed to some amount.

To checker whether this option is enabled or disabled in Internet Download Manager head over to software, and once you’re inside, go to Downloads>Speed limiter and then turn it off by clicking “turn off’.
