How To Find & Add Analytics Web Property ID On Blogger

How To Sign Up For Google Analytics

Go To Google Marketing Platform.
Click Sign in to Analytics

Click Set up for free.

Enter you Account name. You can enter your blog name as well.
Click Next.

Choose Web(Measure your website).
Click Next.

Enter your Website Name.
Enter your Website URL. Choose https//: if your blog supports.
Enter your blog's Industry Category. If your blog does not come in any of the listed options, leave it as it is.
Choose your Time Zone i.e your country.
Click Create.

Choose your Country.
Tick the Data Processing Terms.
Tick The Measurement-Controller-Controller-Protection terms.
Click I Accept.

You have successfully created the Google Analytics account for your blog.

How To Find Analytics Web Property ID

Open your Google Analytics account.
At left sidebar click Admin or Settings symbol.

Under the Property column click Tracking Info.
Click Tracking Code.

You will see your Analytics Web Property ID(Tracking ID) and Global Site Tag.
Global Site Tag is tracking code for Analytics Web Property ID. You have to Copy and Paste this code on your Blogger Theme's head section and the Tracking ID on Blogger settings Google Analytics section. Follow the next two steps.

How To Add Analytics Web Property ID On Blogger

Copy the Tracking ID as we have shown above.
Sign In to your Blogger.
Click Settings.
Click Google Analytics Property ID.
Paste your Tracking ID.
Click Save.

You have successfully added Analytics Web Property ID on Blogger.

How To Add Global Site Tag On Your Blogger Theme

Now Copy the Global Site Tag code as we have shown above.

Sign In to your Blogger.
Click Theme.
Click the "Downward arrow" beside the CUSTOMIZE button.

Click Edit HTML.

Find the <head> tag on your Theme.
Below the <head> tag Paste the Global Site Tag code.
Save your Theme.

Once it will start tracking your site you can check your blog's analytics in detail like bounce rate, searched keywords, top blog posts, organic search etc. Google Analytics will also email your blog's monthly report as well.
